What were your doctors 'conditions' in letting you try for a VBAC?

The doctor will probably do what he thinks is best and safest for both mother and baby. Having a l birth after a caesarean can be tricky depending on when she had her last c-section Usually they do a c-section two weeks before because they don't want to risk her going into labour on her own expecially if it is very soon after her other baby. The caesarean scar may not have had time to heal properly and it can be very dangerous especially if there is a rupture. She should really speak to her doctor and tell him she would like to try a normal birth Sometimes a trial of labour is an option with careful monitoring throughout labour, but that depends on a lot of other thngs. Best to have a talk to the doctor. Best of luck to your friend.
