Comparing Felix Mendelssohn and other romantic composers works.?

I'm doing an essay on Felix Mendelssohn's "Concerto in E Minor" and I need to compare it with one of Beethoven's works, that is similar to Mendelssohn's song, and contrast it to one of Mozarts works, which is also similar to the song. Any suggestions?
