My crochet pattern says "Finish off: 60 3-dc groups and 5 ch-1 sps". How do I do this w/ only 13 chains left?

Looks like a typo and it should be only 6 3-dc groups not 60. You should go online to the book/pattern publisher and see if they have published any pattern corrections. They usually list these as corrections or errates.
