Are there other books of the word of God, but men did?

As throughout all of history. Those that have the power decide what goes into writing. Many books were burned at the time of putting the bible together. Also remember the bible was written by the men in power at the time and as always it is impossible not to be at least a little biased. Given that and the many times it has been translated, do we really have much of a clue of what the bible/god intends for us?
