I wnat one of those camera's that photographers use...i need a cheap one that takes nice looking pictures?

you have to remember that there is a lot more to the pictures looking good than just the camera. there are a lot of settings you must be able to change such as lighting, the amount of flash, shutter speed and such. canon does make a really good camera. that's what i use. i have the Canon Powershot S3IS. I love this camera. it is right around $300 and has single shot as well as a multi shot burst mode. It is a digital camera so there is no film to worry about. it takes really amazing pictures as long you have your settings right for the occasion.
