What dose it say about some parents who use dirty curse words towards their own kids & put them down a lot?

I know some parents use vulgar curse words at their own kids, such as, 'you motherf***** you tramp, you *****, etc. They also say you'll never succeed in your life, you're a loser, etc. What does it say about such parents? Are they meant to be parents?
