Is there a program or school where i could become a Pharmacist from a pharm technician?

i wnat to get info. because i really want to go for both but i wana kknow if becoming a phramacist technician can help me become a Pharmacist. I know to become a pharm technician is like 6- to 9 months but are some of the courses of that help me later on for my pharmacist career.
