Is it OK to invite an ex bf to celebrate my birthday with me? we breakup about 2 week agos? please answer?

he tried to fix things between us , but i was still angry with him, now he is angry with me bec. im not attending his messages. is it ok to invite him out on my birthday which is next week to fix things up and what do you think of it , is it ok. or am i gone be like a stalker as throwing my self towards him? please i need an advice ( i love him) >>> thanks
