How can I convince my parents (mom) to let me go snowboarding with friends?

i would say tell them you are actually better off being on the mountain with your friends than having them (your parents) sitting around at the bottom of the mountain because that way you at leats have other people up there with you in case something happens. Things (especially snowboarding) are safer in pairs or groups. That would be a point in my arguement.
