After 2006, why did the Bears release these players:?

They traded Thomas Jones simply because Cedric Benson was a 1st round pick and they believed he would be better. He was a bust. They released Moose because he just wasn't that good in Chicago, and why they let Berrian walk to a divisional rival is still a big question mark.
